Добрый день. Помогите, пожалуйста, проверьте:

1. Правильно ли я использовала “no”. I’m afraid there in NO coffee left. Can you go and buy some.
2. Правильно ли я использовала времена. My uncle Quentin IS TRAVELING to Rome frequently. He HAS ALREADY GONE there twice this month. He FELL in love with beautiful Italian woman two ears ago and he GO out with her every since. I think he WILL PROPOSE to her soon.
3. Правильно ли я использовала времена. The Queen HAS a garden party at Bucingham Palace every year. Last year she INVITED a friend of mine. He BORROWED some money from me to buy a new outfit and he STILL TRY to pay it all back. I think I SHALL WRITE to Her Majesty and ask her not to invite him again.
4. Правильно ли я использовала past perfect continuous. Sally HAD BEEN EATING so much chocolate that she felt silk.
5. Как правильно сказать официанту, принесшему счет, когда я вдруг обнаруживаю, что кошелька у меня нет. “Oh no! I LOSED my wallet.” или. “Oh no! I HAVE LOSED my wallet.”

И если кто знает, где в интернете можно скачать ключи к Round-Up (пока интересует № 4).

1. Правильно ли я использовала “no”. I’m afraid there in NO coffee left. Can you go and buy some.

ok, except for "there IS..."

2. Правильно ли я использовала времена. My uncle Quentin IS TRAVELING to Rome frequently.

ok

He HAS ALREADY GONE there twice this month.

i would say he has already BEEN... but GONE is probably right

He FELL in love with beautiful Italian woman two ears ago and he GO out with her every since.

he has been going out...

I think he WILL PROPOSE to her soon.

ok

3. Правильно ли я использовала времена. The Queen HAS a garden party at Bucingham Palace every year.

ok

Last year she INVITED a friend of mine.

ok

He BORROWED some money from me to buy a new outfit and he STILL TRY to pay it all back.

he is still trying....

I think I SHALL WRITE to Her Majesty and ask her not to invite him again.

...i will write...

4. Правильно ли я использовала past perfect continuous. Sally HAD BEEN EATING so much chocolate that she felt silk.

lmao! fell sick (or GOT SICK?) then it is right. but if you meant "felt sick" in the meaning of nausea "had eaten" will do.

5. Как правильно сказать официанту, принесшему счет, когда я вдруг обнаруживаю, что кошелька у меня нет. “Oh no! I LOSED my wallet.” или. “Oh no! I HAVE LOSED my wallet.”

you cannot say "losed" because there is no such word. you should try "i lost my wallet" with the preceding intensifier like "Damn" or the like.

Мне кажется, my uncle travels..(часто ездит) подойдет лучше, чем has traveled (часто ездил).

idiosyncratic idea: if uncle Quentin is still in Rome you say:"he often travels to Rome"
If he's back home you say:"My uncle Quentin has often travelled to Rome."

"he often travels to Rome" has nothing to do with whether he is still there or not. For example if I say I often have spaghetti with broccoli at a local restaurant , it doesn't mean I'm in the restaurant now and eating the said dish.
anyways here's my input

2. Правильно ли я использовала времена. My uncle Quentin TRAVELS to Rome frequently. He HAS ALREADY GONE there twice this month. He FELL in love with A beautiful Italian woman two ears ago and he HAS GONE out with her EVER since. I think he WILL PROPOSE to her soon.
3. Правильно ли я использовала времена. The Queen HAS a garden party at Bucingham Palace every year. Last year she INVITED a friend of mine. He BORROWED some money from me to buy a new outfit and he IS STILL TRYING to pay it all back. I think I SHALL WRITE to Her Majesty and ask her not to invite him again.
4. Правильно ли я использовала past perfect continuous. Sally HAD EATEN so much chocolate that she felt silk. - imho, people usually feel sick not because of how long they've been eating something but because of how much of it they have eaten.
5. Как правильно сказать официанту, принесшему счет, когда я вдруг обнаруживаю, что кошелька у меня нет. “Oh no! I LOSED my wallet.” или. “Oh no! I HAVE LOSED my wallet.” -should be I lost my wallet, or just my wallet is gone and then look at the waiter in a way that suggest he may well have taken it.

"he often travels to Rome" has nothing to do with whether he is still there or not.

I know. Compare present perfect to present simple. What situation makes it possible for you to say 'He's travelled" as opposed to "He travels"?
Probably I'd say "He's travelled to Rome quite a few times/on more that one occasion", not "He's often travelled to Rome" but the latter is gramatically correct, so I'm trying to get to the bottom of it - why should I use it instead of just "he travels"?

well, idea is that frequency adverbs tend to collocate with the present indifinite and period of time adverbs tend to collocate with perfect tenses, if there's both a period of time adverb and a frequency adverb then the period of time tends to win over and the verb shifts into perfect. It's like a general idea. In the opening sentence of this passage we've got a frequency adverb on its own so if you make the verb perfect here it will sound as if something is missing , He's travelled to Rome frequently, cause this sentence would suggest that there was a certain point in the past before which he didn't use to travel to Rome as frequently, however if you say he's travelled to Rome frequently since he met that italian woman, or better still he's been travelling to Rome frequently since he met that woman, all things fall in place nicely. The idea is you do not have to use has travelled rather than travels in this sentence. It all depends on what you want to say, if you say he travels there frequently, then the second sentence is an illustration of how frequently he goes there and the rest is a description of what happened to him as a result of his frequent visits to Rome. If you say he's travelled, then well, for one such a sentence would still be lacking in style like I said before, but then you'd be talking abt a change in his behavior, meaning that some time ago he began to go to Rome very often, then you tell us how often by giving an example, two visits in this month alone, then you give us the reason why he's been doing that, because of that woman he met that he is now obviosly going to propose to. Hope it helps

I discern the difference and of course tenses used depend greatly on the situation. What I'm trying to put across is present perfect sometimes denotes the result of some finished action - I've travelled to Rome (Я бывал в Риме), I have travelled to Rome frequently (Я частенько бывал в Риме) and I often travel to Rome (Я часто езжу в Рим); 'I've travelled to Rome' (Я бывал в Риме)doesn't necessarily mean I still do.

N.B. Why does "I have sometimes travelled to Rome" jar the ear?

Why does "I have sometimes travelled to Rome" jar the ear?

actually on second thought it doesn't really jar the ear any more, though I wouldn't say that I've travelled to Rome frequently conveys exactly the same idea as the Russian Я частенько бывал в Риме, it's more like I've been to Rome many times or some such thing. Yes you're right that generally speaking "I've travelled to Rome" does not necesseraly mean that you still go there regularly, but in the context of the original short story abt this uncle and his italian sweet heart the auncle is still travelling to Rome regularly so you can't really say He's travelled to Rome frequently meaning he no longer does, because in the sentence that immediately follows it says that only this month he's been there twice. Taken out of any context "I have travelled to Rome frequently" can mean both that I've done that during an unspecified period of time in the past and that you're still doing it that the period you're talking abt isn't over yet. To me it seems that the second meaning is more immediete, the first thing that comes to one's mind if they hear I've often travelled to Rome, is to mentally add "recently" to this sentence because if someone wants to stress that they used to do somthing in the past but they no longer do it they just say "I used to travel to Rome frequently" and there's much less ambiguity to this sentence.

Еще раз спасибо за помощь.
Кстати, вот что оказалось после проверки.

2. Правильно ли я использовала времена. My uncle Quentin TRAVELS to Rome frequently. He HAS ALREADY BEEN (хотя в тесте предлагается использовать форму от GO)there twice this month. He FELL in love with beautiful Italian woman two ears ago and he HAS VISITED (хотя и тут предлагается использовать форму от GO) out with her every since. I think he WILL PROPOSE to her soon.
3. Правильно ли я использовала времена. The Queen HAS a garden party at Bukcingham Palace every year. Last year she INVITED a friend of mine. He BORROWED some money from me to buy a new outfit and he IS STILL TRYING to pay it all back. I think I WILL WRITE to Her Majesty and ask her not to invite him again.
4. Правильно ли я использовала past perfect continuous. Sally HAD EATEN so much chocolate that she felt silk.
5. Как правильно сказать официанту, принесшему счет, когда я вдруг обнаруживаю, что кошелька у меня нет. “Oh no! I HAVE LOST my wallet.”

"He has visited out with her ever since"? I don't think so. You can't use "visit" with the preposition "out".

I agree. Has to be "he has gone out with her".

Even saying "he has visited her ever since" does not hold water in this context. (I often like to toss in idioms like that to keep folks on their toes.)
