What is the difference between error and mistake? Исправьте ошибки в предложениях.Некоторые переводят и так и так.

И в чем разница между this/that & it? Например в: Я давно узнал об "этом".
Неужели они "это" сделали?

Error and Mistake can mean the same thing. Error is usually used when talking about "technical" mistakes such as miscalculation, computer failures, equipment errors and so forth. Mistake is a more popular word and can be used to refer to any kind of mistake
